RELATED: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ranking Protagonists From Best to Worst

The roles of the villains in JoJo, in particular, cannot be overlooked. Many of the villains in JoJo are more popular than some of the protagonists and for good reason. They’re flashy, magnetic, and drive the story forward. Each of the villains in the series possesses unique abilities that make them truly strong, but these few rise above the rest.

Updated January 15, 2022, by Suzail Ahmad: JoJolion may have ended, but fans are already preparing for the ninth and possibly last part of JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure. The latest part is called JOJOLands, and there is very limited information available about it so far. However, readers can expect it to have an exciting protagonist and villain. So far, all the villains in the series have proven to be outstanding. A big reason for their popularity is their special powers. These abilities not only add to their strength but also affect their personalities to a certain extent. Considering the plethora of villains in the series, there’s really no shortage of viable candidates when it comes to the strongest JoJo villains.

19 Tamaki Damo

Tamaki Damo is one of the main villains in JoJolion. He was a rock human who dated Hato Higashikata in order to gain access to the Higashikata estate. Tamaki Damo wanted to get ahold of the Locacaca fruit and avenge his fallen brethren.

He had a rather sadistic personality, and it combined perfectly with his Stand’s abilities. Tamaki’s Stand is called Vitamin C, and it has the ability to liquefy a person’s body, leaving them vulnerable. Tamaki would torture them at his leisure until he got the information that he needed.

18 Poor Tom

Poor Tom was a rock human, and he was part of the research team at the T.G. University Hospital. Despite his size, Poor Tom was actually a strong opponent, who would attack his opponents after planning things meticulously.

Poor Tom possessed a unique Stand known as the Ozon Baby. It is an automatic Stand with a range of 100 meters, allowing Poor Tom to attack multiple targets at the same time. Ozon Baby affected the air pressure of a given area. Poor Tom can either increase or decrease the pressure, causing severe injuries to his targets and, in extreme cases, even death.

17 Jobin Higashikata

Jobin Higashikata was the eldest son of Norisuke and Kaato Higashikata. From a young age, Jobin was influenced by his mother’s words, and at a certain point, he became so motivated that he committed his first murder. Jobin strongly believed that he was doing what was best for the family. When his own father tried to reason with him, Jobin didn’t hesitate to get rid of him.

Jobin Higashikata also has a Stand, which is called Speed King. The Stand is able to store heat on any surface, and when a person makes contact, the temperature of their body rises rapidly, which can lead to death. Aside from its ability to store heat, Speed King is also physically strong enough to easily pummel a human.

16 Toru

Toru is the main antagonist of JoJolion. He was the leader of the Locacaca Organization, but he used his Stand’s ability to trick everyone. Toru’s Wonder of U is unquestionably one of the most powerful Stands in the entire series. It is able to manipulate the laws of calamity.

If a person tried to approach the Stand or Toru, all sorts of calamities would start attacking them. These calamities are able to inflict serious damage on the pursuers. The most dangerous part is that these calamities start from harmless sources. Given the fact that Toru had such a strong Stand, he is among the strongest JoJo villains to date. In order to defeat him, Josuke needed help from others.

15 Miu Miu

Miu Miu is one of the many antagonists who were sent by Pucci to keep Jolyne within the prison walls. She served as the chief guard of the Green Dolphin Street Prison. She aimed to stop Jolyne and Emporio from escaping the prison.

Miu Miu possesses Jail House Lock, which allows her to keep things in control inside the prison. Once the Stand is activated, it causes the opponent to suffer from short-term memory loss. Under the influence of the Stand’s power, a person can only remember three things at once.

14 Ungalo

Ungalo awakened his Stand after meeting Enrico Pucci. For the most part of his life, Ungalo was a man with no hope and ambition, however, his meeting with Pucci changed him.

With his newly awakened Stand, Ungalo was able to wreak havoc throughout the world. His Stand, Bohemian Rhapsody could trap anyone inside the fictional world and the person trapped would share the same fate as their favorite fictional character. The only way to stop the Stand from working is by creating another fictional character.

13 Ringo Roadagain

Ringo Roadagain is arguably one of the best secondary antagonists in the entire JoJo series. He was sent by Funny Valentine, who wanted to halt Gyro and Johnny’s progress.

Ringo was obsessed with duels and he wouldn’t let anyone pass unless they defeated him. Ringo’s Stand allows him to reverse time by six seconds. It allowed him to confuse his opponents by reversing the time and preparing surprise attacks.

12 Cioccolata

Cioccolata was a member of Diavolo’s Special Squad and due to his insanely twisted methods of handling a situation, Diavolo only called upon his service when the need was dire. He fought against Bruno’s group in Rome, where he caused widespread destruction.

He possessed Green Day, which is a very overpowered Stand that can affect an entire city within a short period. Furthermore, the Stand also allows its user to separate their body into multiple parts without dying.

11 Diego Brando

Diego Brando is among the main antagonists of Steel Ball Run. During the race, Diego switched sides many times. However, he only remained loyal to himself.

Diego was turned into a dinosaur by Dr. Ferdinand, but after the latter’s death, Diego used the Saint’s left eye to develop his own variation of the Stand. Diego was incredibly clever and he was a proper nuisance for Johnny and Gyro throughout the race.

10 Akira Otoishi

Akira Otoishi possessed one of the most dangerous stands in the series, but he failed to use it to the fullest. His Red Hot Chili Pepper is an extraordinary stand, which becomes more powerful by absorbing electricity.

While near a strong power source, Red Hot Chili Pepper is capable of overwhelming even Crazy Diamond, an incredibly powerful close-range stand, with ease. Yet, since he didn’t take his stand to its full potential, he falls at the bottom of the list.

9 Ghiaccio

Ghiaccio’s White Album had little to no weakness as a stand. Unlike most, it formed as a suit around Ghiaccio, covering almost the entire body and only leaving one hole on the back of his neck. The stand is able to lower the temperature to -231°C, freezing the very air.

With the ability to freeze objects around him, Ghiaccio proved to be a nemesis for Giorno and Mista. The latter sustained many injuries in their fight, a memorable battle.

8 Vanilla Ice

Vanilla Ice was one of the final enemies to be revealed in part 3. DIO’s most loyal underling, he proved was ready to die for him. As a fighter, Vanilla was arguably the best fighter in DIO’s army of stand users, as shown throughout his time on the show.

After DIO turned him into a vampire, Vanilla Ice gained more strength as well as regenerative powers. He was thus able to destroy anything in his path via Cream’s ability. In its void form, the stand could erase anything from existence.

7 Risotto Nero

A minor antagonist in part 5, Risotto was the leader of the Hitman Team and its strongest member. Risotto Nero was a very skilled assassin, who could finish off his opponents without breaking a sweat.

His stand, Metallica, is a colony stand, which makes it incapable of attacking on its own. However, it does have the power to manipulate iron present in the air and the ground. Risotto had enough precision with Metallica to form sharp objects inside a person’s body, leading to serious injuries and potential death.

6 Kira Yoshikage

The serial killer of Morioh, Kira Yoshikage was an immensely powerful villain, but the most impressive thing about him was his intelligence. He had been killing people for a long time, but he covered his tracks expertly.

Kira’s stand, Killer Queen, is a close-range stand that is able to turn anything it touches into a bomb. Killer Queen also has two additional types of bombs: Bites the Dust and Sheer Heart Attack. Bites the Dust is capable of creating temporal loops and rewinding time. Meanwhile, Sheer Heart Attack is a long-range bomb that can only be stopped by Kira himself.

5 DIO

There is no doubt that DIO is the most iconic villain in the series, and one of the few characters who have appeared in more than one part. DIO’s malevolence and dark charisma turned him into a fan favorite. In terms of power, he lacks in a few departments but is still a menacing force.

When DIO became a vampire, he gained superhuman strength and speed. In part 3, DIO was able to awaken his stand, The World. This incredibly powerful close-range stand can deal heavy damage. In addition to its destructive physical power, The World also has the ability to stop for a few seconds.

4 Diavolo

Diavolo is the main antagonist of Golden Wind, and one of the most unique villains in the series. He was the alter ego of Vinegar Doppio, which made it easy for Diavolo to move around undetected.

Diavolo’s stand, King Crimson, has the ability to erase time for up to 10 seconds, with only Diavolo being able to move in that timeframe. Epitaph is a sub-stand that allowed Diavolo to predict the future and avoid any potentially fatal attacks. Considering all his power, it’s no wonder that it took the power of Gold Experience Requiem to take down Diavolo.

3 Ultimate Kars

Since the introduction of stands in the series, villains from the first two parts have faded from memory. However, Kars remains undoubtedly one of the strongest villains in the series. When he managed to become the ultimate life form, Kars became invincible.

Kars gained immortality and became immune to UV light rays, which was his only weakness. Furthermore, he gained reactive evolution and could recover from any wound in a matter of seconds. His IQ of 400 was far higher than that of any human and allowed him to trick his way out of difficult situations effortlessly.

2 Enrico Pucci

One of the many JoJo characters inspired by DIO, Pucci learned a lot about stands and DIO’s plan for awakening the perfect stand. Enrico Pucci’s original stand was Whitesnake, but after stealing Jotaro’s memories, he managed to evolve it into Made in Heaven.

Made in Heaven is an extremely powerful stand that can manipulate the gravitational forces of the earth, moon, and the entire universe. With its power to accelerate time, Pucci was able to create an entirely new universe. Made in Heaven turned Pucci into the strongest character in Stone Ocean.

1 Funny Valentine

Funny Valentine is the final antagonist of Steel Ball Run. He wanted the Saint’s Corpse in order to turn America into the biggest power in the world. His stand, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap or D4C, is one of the strongest stands in the series and grants him the ability to switch bodies with his counterparts from other dimensions.

The condition for activating the stand is fairly easy. It requires Funny Valentine to be caught between two surfaces. His stand evolved further into D4C-Love Train, due to the power of the Saint’s Corpse. This stand redirected any misfortune aimed toward Valentine, thus making him unbeatable and stronger than any other character in the story.
